I can not believe that it is Friday. I am so glad it is however. This has been a crazy week in our household. My DH's truck had to be taken to the shop to be fixed and I got the great job of having to take care of it since I am home all day. I really hate driving that truck because it so big, but I got it fixed and everything is ok in my DH's world right now. Mommy to the rescue again LOL.
I could use some fun tonight so I am glad it is VGNO over at Ann's tonight. It is officially summer hear in the south and the heat and humidly has come in full force so I could use a nice cold drink tonight.
Scropino
2 scoops lemon sorbet
3 ounces, absolute citrus vodka
3 ounces lemon cello Clemons liqueur
Sparkling white wine
Lemon slices for garnish
In a blender, combine sorbet, vodka and liqueur until smooth. Divide between two glasses then add the wine to fill the glasses. Garnish with lemon slices.
I hope every one stops by Ann's to enjoy more of the party. She has a great contest going on. Sit back and enjoy all of the great parties that will be going on tonight. I am off to golf practice but will back later tonight for more of the fun.
Yum, what a concoction! Happy VGNO!
