Applicance Problems
Ok, that is where I draw the line. I am not having anything in my house that "may" catch fire. I have been washer hunting today. I did find one and being in a small town it was delivered today.
I love it so much. I will try to take pictures of it tonight.
I have not had time to post the new contest today, since I have been dealing with this issue today. I will get the contest up hopefully tomorrow. I just wanted you all to know that I have not forgotten about the contest. Thanks so much for understanding.

Quotable Sunday- Goals
This week we have been talking a lot about goals, what they are, why you have them, how to achieve them. As most of you know Golfergirl loves golf and she has been taking lessons. She was watching the U.S. Open on TV last week and one of the golfers was talking about his goal was to get to play Sunday at the U.S. Open. Golfergirl asked what he meant by that. I explained that he wanted to play well enough in the tournament that he made the cut and got to play in the final rounds of the tournament. She looked at me and said if he wanted to play Sunday all he had to do was show up.
For those who do not play golf, in a professional golf tournament they play four days. The first two days everyone that is entered in the tournament plays. In order to get to play on the third and fourth day you must make the cut. Which means a number is set that players must meet in order to play. The number is different for each tournament because it based on the leaders score. It is complicated and that is not the purpose of this post, but I had to give a little background. Into why you can not just show up and be in the finial rounds.
After we talked about goals, I asked her what one of her goals was. She said " I am going to be the first girl to play the U.S.Open." I told her that was great and if she worked hard enough she could achieve it. I explained that it was not going to be easy ( she is not old enough to explain how hard it will be to get into a all male tournament ).
She told her coach today about her goal. I cringed at first not knowing what he was going to say. He looked at her, handed her a club and said lets get to working on that. She just beamed.
I am sorry about the long story today but I wanted to give some background on why I picked Goals for my quote. Golfergirl picked them out and we are going to frame them for her to look at in her room.

Ouchies Band-Aids Review/Giveaway
When I was given the opportunity to review Ouchies I was very excited to show them to Golfergirl. You see Ouchies are made for the older child who has gotten to big for the "baby" bandages.
Ouchies are fun and very affordable. They come in a very cute tin box decorated with cool designs. They come in Teen-Ages girl, Teen-Ages boy, and Golfergirls favorite Make Your Own come in 5 bright colors and 3 markers. Golfergirl loves to decorate her own bandages.
About Ouchies came about from an idea of a Daddy with the encouragement from his wife to bring a cool look to bandages.
The only negative I had is they are a little too sticky. We left the bandage on a couple of days because the scratch was "not healed" yet and it left the skin red and sticky. We should not have left it on so long, so when you use them just leave them on a little while and they will be great.
Golfergirl says they are great and she wants more.
Buy them
If you would like to know if Ouchies are available in your area click here.

Diane Birch Review
I love music, so when I was given the chance to review the Diane Birch album Bible Belt
from One2One Network I jumped at the chance. Her music is very soulful. She wrote all of the songs on the album. Golfergirl even liked Diane Birch's music. Her favorite song is Fire Escape.
Diane Birch's Bio says:
For singer-songwriter Diane Birch, music was a refuge. Although Diane was born in Michigan, her childhood was spent on the move as the daughter of a preacher, living between Zimbabwe, South Africa and Australia, before her parents finally settled in Portland, Oregon. When she was in her early teens, Diane absorbed a unique and cosmopolitan perspective on life that shines through her music and makes a simple categorization of it impossible.
The result? Diane Birch sounds like an old favorite, with all the sparkle and magic of a breakthrough talent. People says she sounds like a combination of early Carole King, Linda Ronstadt and Stevie Nicks, with a little Joss Stone and Cat Power mixed in. Bible Belt is only her first record, but it’s one of the most accomplished albums you’ll hear all year. From the opening track “Fire Escape” to the closing “Magic View,” Diane’s stunning voice is mesmerizing.
Written entirely by Diane, Bible Belt was recorded in New York City and New Orleans with an impressive team of Grammy-winning producers: S-Curve Records founder Steve Greenberg, soul legend Betty Wright and Mike Mangini, in their first project together since producing Joss Stone’s first albums.

Chloraseptic™ Allergen Block Review/Giveaway
When I was offered the chance to review Choraspectic AllergenBlock I decided to let Golferdad give it a try. It is very easy to use. Chloraseptic Allergen Block is a gel that you put on your nostrils and upper lip and it acts as a barrier between allergens and your respiratory system. Golferdad says it is not greasy and it works pretty well. I was glad that it was not greasy since I hate to have anything on my upper lip. He said that he did not sneeze as much when he was doing the yard work.
Allergen block is drug free so you do not have to worry about any drug reactions or side affects. It will not make you sleepy like a lot of other allergy meds.
I have a tub of Chloraseptic Allergen Block to give away. Mandatory entry is to go to Chloraseptic and then come back here to tell me which product you would like to try.
Extra Entries: Mandatory entry must be completed before these will count.
1. Follow my blog (1 entry if you already follow just let me know)
2. Follow me on Twitter (1 entry if you already follow just let me know) @golfersmommy
3. Follow me on Networked Bloggers ( 2 entries leave a separate entry for each) Look to
the right sidebar for the follow button.
A winner will be chosen by random.org on July 8th. The winner will be announced on July 9th and the winner will have 48 hours to respond. This is open to US residents only.
Clear Ears Water Absorbing Ear Plugs/ Review
So I was very excited to get to review the ClearEars products from CircusHealthCare. These are ear plugs that you put in after swimming an it absorbs the water left in the ear from swimming. It could also be used after shower as well.
They come in a 5 pack plastic container that is very easy to put in the beach bag to take with you to the pool. The ear plugs are placed in the ears and wait 5 to 10 minutes and then remove them.
We have used them twice and so far we have not had to go to the Dr. for swimmers ear. I hope it keeps up. I will continue using these to keep her from the pain this summer.
Another plus of these is when you are finished using them cut them up and place them in the soil with potted plants. They absorb the water to help keep the soil moist.
Information from the company:
Water trapped in the ears after swimming or bathing can be very uncomfortable and may lead to ear problems such as Swimmer’s Ears. The revolutionary, patent pending, product, ClearEars, is a soft, comfortable earplug containing a FDA approved polymer which draws water from the ears.
- Works fast in only 5- 10 minutes.
- Safe for kids and adults.
- More convenient than ear drops providing on the spot relief.
- Earth friendly as ClearEars can be reused to help plants retain water. See package for details.
- Alcohol free, dries and relieves.
Golfersmom and Golfergirl like this product. If you would like to buy ClearEars click here.
