SONIC is Golfergirls favorite restaurant in town. When I was offered the opportunity to receive a Gift Card to go try out their Wacky Pack meals, I knew this going to be a winner with a certain DD. She was always talking her Mimi into taking her after school for a snack last year after school. I think she is worried this year that I am picking her up she will not get to go very much.LOL.
At our SONIC you can either stay in your car to order and eat or you can walk up, order and eat at tables sit up outside. Golfergirl is always wanting to eat at the table so this time we did. It was nice sitting out under the umbrella's. It was a little hard to hear when I was ordering because of the noise of the music playing. We got it order however with no problems. The girl that was taking the order was very nice and did not seem to get upset when I had to ask her over and over again a couple of time to repeat the order.
DH ordered the Extra Long Chili Coney Dog, Fries and a Drink. I ordered the Regular Cheeseburger, Onion Rings and a drink. Golfergirl ordered a kids Wacky Pack chicken tenders, tator tots and milk. The GC covered everything and we had some left over. I guess Golfergirl and I can come back for that after school snack next week. LOL
Our server was very nice and came back a couple of times to ask if we needed any thing else and how our food was. We just usually get the food and bring it home so it was nice to sit outside and enjoy the day.
SONICS Waky Pack meals meals meet a number of USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans and recommendations for children’s nutrition. SONIC recommends children get a Wacky Pack meal that consists of two all white meat chicken strips, apple slices with fat-free caramel dipping sauce and one percent low-fat milk. This combination provides your child protein, calcium and fruit. Now, Golfergirl did not want the apple slices she chose the tator tots instead. O well I can win every nutritional battle with her. At least she ordered the white meat chicken strips.
The Wacky Packs come with a cool toy in each one. For August the toy is August in Smart-a-Gon and in September the toy will be a Hero Force collectible.
At our SONIC they were upgrading any drink that you buy with a Meal Deal to a Route 44. I am not sure if that is something going on at all SONICS and how long it will last. Might want to run on over and check out if it is in your town.
SONIC is wanting people to try their Wacky Pack meals so they are giving 3 lucky readers of Golfersmom a chance to win a $10 GC.
