Brookster has been begging, I mean constantly asking for her room to be re-done. She wanted bright polka dots, and flowers all over her room. I am so not an artist so painting them on the wall was not an option. When I was given the chance to review The Simple Stencil, I jumped at the chance. I told Brookster she could pick out what she wanted for her room. The web site is very easy to maneuver thru and the graphics were great. They allowed Brookster to know exactly what the items looked liked. She could even click on the different colors and be able to see the flower in different colors. I allowed Brookster to pick out what she wanted colors and all. The Simple Stencil had the polka dots and flowers she wanted. Since it was here room, I let her go with it. She has light green walls so she picked out hot pink flowers, hot pink polka dots, purple flowers and purple polka dots. Below is a sample of the polka dots she ordered. The polka dots come 50 to a page so we ended up with 100 polka dots. Brookster was thrilled.
Everyday after we placed the order, she watched the mail to see if came or not. She told everyone she saw she was getting her room re-done. It was so sweet how excited she got. I was a little nervous if I would be able to put the stencils on, remember I have no artistic ability in my body. The day finally arrived and she was so excited. The stencils could not have been easier toplace on the wall. You pull the first sheet off to reveal the stencil on a sticky piece of paper. Use the special tool that comes with the order to rub over the stencil to help it adhere to the wall.
Here is a picture of Brookster helping put the stencils on her wall.
We cleaned Brooksters room out completely in order to be able to get to the walls easier. I had planned on the whole process of placing the stencils to take a couple of days. I was wrong I got the whole room done in one night. Below are pictures of what her room looked like before and what it looked like after.
Here is a before and after of what her room looked like. Forgive the bright light in the mirror. She will not let me take that mirror down. Her Papa made the mirror for her before he passed away and we are not allowed to touch it.
Brookster was so excited about her new room. She says that Jennifer with Simply Stencils is "Awesome" and to Thank thank thank thank her for giving her the Stencils.
